If I do not depart until the evening, is there anywhere I can leave my bags?
We will take care of your luggage by storage in our left-luggage room.
Is the price for the entire Apartment, or per person?
The price is per Apartment up to the maximum number of persons adequate to each room. Please, find the details about each Apartment on Venetian House website.
Can I put an extra fold out bed in the Apartment? How much does it cost?
Extra beds are available at an additional payment 120 PLN/bed per night and are available on request by email.
Extra beds do not fit each Apartment, as some of our Apartments do not have enough space.
Are cots and high chairs provided? How much does it cost?
We are able to provide cots and high chairs. All children under 3 years stay free of charge for children's cots/cribs. Please inform the Reception in advance if you require these items or select them as extras while booking online.
Where can I park my car?
Venetian House is located on the Main Market Square, where parking space is forbidden. However, around of the Old Town there are few guarded parking lots where you can rent a place for several days. For more information, please contact with the Reception.
What currencies can I pay in and how can I pay?
Payments must be made in PLN using cash or making the transfer.
Choosing currency is possible only while making the payment by card at the Reception.
Is breakfast provided in the price?
Included breakfast depends on the type of the reservation.
If the reservation does not include breakfast, we invite you on spot to Urban Garden Restaurant located in the Venetian House Aparthotel.
Are the Apartments secure?
Venetian House Aparthotel is located in a modernized building with available Reception 24/7. There are also security codes to access the building. For these reasons, we consider the Apartments to be secure.
Do the Apartments have an access to Wi-Fi?
Venetian House is equipped with a fibre optic internet connection with independent routers in each room. It means excellent speed and reliability.
Access to the Internet is free of charge.
Do the Apartments have English speaking channels?
Yes, internet TV does have English speaking channels such as BBC, Eurosport, etc.
What is included in the Apartment price?
The Apartment price contains all you need. It means, there are no additional charges, unless you have extra guests, or require extras, welcome packs, etc.
Are towels, linen and toiletries provided?
Yes - You will be provided with linen and fresh towels in addition to necessary toiletries.
Are irons and ironing boards provided in the Apartments?
Yes, irons and ironing boards are provided in each Apartment.
Are hair dryers provided?
Yes, each Apartment has a hair dryer.
Do the Apartments have Telephones?
The Apartments are equipped with internal telephones connecting rooms with the Reception or the other rooms.
How often are the Apartments cleaned?
The Apartments are given a basic clean on a daily basis, such as changing bins, cleaning surfaces. Full clean - with change of linen takes place every 3 days. If you require additional services related to cleaning, please ask at our Reception. The Apartments are cleaned between 10.30 am and 4.00 pm.
Where can I book a tour?
All of the main tours are available to buy at our Reception including the Auschwitz Birkenau tour, Wieliczka Salt Mine tour or City walking tours, etc.
Where are the Apartments located in Krakow?
The Apartments are located in the most central location within Kraków. Directly on main Market Square 11.
Do the Apartments have an access to the elevator?
All Apartments in Venetian House have an access to the elevator.
What happens if I accidentally damage the Apartment?
Venetian House will charge for any major damage to our properties or the breakage of any significant items during your visit. Appropriate charges will be made to put right the damage, or to replace the broken object.
Damage deposit:
Credit/Debit Card details will be hold a security for damage to Venetian House Apartments.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are forbidden.
Can I reserve an airport pick up?
Yes, we co-operate with a local reliable transfer company who will be able to pick you up at the airport and transfer you directly to our Apartments.
We are also able to provide you transfer back to the airport.
How do I get from Krakow Balice airport to the city center?
The most convenient way is choosing taxi.
It is also possible to get by train - cost 8 pln (approx. 2 Euro). The train leaves every 30 minutes and the journey to main train station ‘Dworzec Główny’ lasts approximately 20 minutes. Ticket can be bought in the train or in the machine on the platform (payment with card or cash). The walk from the train station to Venetian House takes about 10-15 minutes.
The last option is bus – number 208.

What is the process for reserving, booking and paying for Apartment rental?
Venetian House Aparthotel offers 2 types of bookings – ‘Pay Now’ and ‘Pay When You Stay’.
‘Pay Now’ – (non-refundable). The Payment is taken on the day of booking without possibility of free modification or cancellation.
‘Pay When You Stay’ The payment is not taken until during your stay at the Aparthotel.
The booking is confirmed when payment is received or confirmation of the validity of your credit/debit card (in case of ‘pay when you stay’).
In case, the payment is declined or we are unable to authorize the validity of the payment card, a request will be made by email to provide valid payment details. If valid payment details are not provided within 24hrs the booking will automatically be removed and a cancellation email sent to the email address provided.
How do I cancel my booking and are there any charges associated with cancellations?
Regarding non-refundable type of the reservation, the guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel at any time.
In case of reservation type “Pay when you stay”, the guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival. If the guest doesn’t show up they will be charged the total price of the reservation.

Cancellation disclaimer:
Venetian House does not make exceptions to the cancellation policy due to personal circumstances of the client or force majeure. Personal circumstances include illness, changes in travel plans, travel delays, and any other reasons related to the clients personal circumstances which results in them not being able to fulfill the booking with Venetian House, with the exception of serious illness, serious injury or the death of the client. Force majeure includes war, strikes, natural catastrophes and any other events considered 'acts of God.'
Exceptions to the cancellation policy:
Full refund will be given irrespective of the time of the cancellation in the case of serious illness, serious injury or the death of the client. The definition of serious illness or serious illness is 'the complete deterioration of health or a disabling infection which prohibits the client from leaving his place of residence, or place of hospitalization (where the client is undergoing treatment) on the date of the commencement of the rental period.’ A signed doctors note will be required as proof.
How do I book Apartments to accommodate a group?
When booking for more than 8 persons, different policies and additional supplements may apply. In that case, please contact directly with the Reception.
Alternative Accommodation in Krakow:
Venetian House reserves the right to change the Apartment booked for another Apartment in Cracow of equal or higher standard, should the original property not be available for any reason. If the Apartment is replaced for an Apartment of lower standard, then the difference in cost of renting the original and substitute Apartment will be refunded.
Do I get a booking reference number?
Once your booking has been made, you will receive a booking reference number which you will need for any correspondence with Venetian House
Additionally an email will be dispatched automatically detailing your booking or reservation which will contain all the information that you will need on your arrival in Krakow, such as directions and contact numbers.

Can I get a discount for longer bookings?
Most Apartments offer a discounted rate for bookings of one week or more, in addition to last minute discounts. If you wish to make a medium or longer term rental, please give us a call or email us and we will be happy to negotiate a rate with you.
What happens if I lose a standard key?
The cost for a lost standard key is 200 PLN (approx. 50 Euros).
The cost for a lost key – magnetic card is 20 PLN / card (approx. 5 Euros).
Can I smoke in the Apartments?
Inside the building, smoking is forbidden.
In case of break the rules, the guest carries the punishment 500 PLN.

Personal Liability:
Venetian House under no circumstances takes any liability to personal injuries or damages sustained by guests staying in its apartments. Guests confirm that they have personal insurance that will protect them against any injuries sustained while residing in any apartment. The liability of Venetian House shall be limited to the total cost of any amount paid for the booking in question and no more.
Sleeping Capacity and Usage:
Under no circumstances must the number of guests exceed the maximum stated on your booking form, including babies and overnight guests. No property may be used for business purposes of any sort.
Problems and complaints:
If our staff do not respond appropriately or not act reasonably in the rectification of any problems, resulting in a significant disruption to the guest's stay in the Apartment a negotiated discount or refund will be given. The liability of shall be limited to the total cost of any amount paid for the booking in question and no more.
